Koto Asian Bistro Bringing Hibachi and Sushi to Coconut Creek

Koto Asian Bistro, a new Japanese and Asian fusion restaurant, is set to open at 5463 Lyons Rd suite e, Coconut Creek, FL 33073 in early October, according to co-owner Casey Tong.

Tong and his wife, Karen Ngo, previously owned Koto Japanese Cuisine, a hibachi restaurant in Coral Springs, which they operated for 15 years before selling. Now, they're launching a smaller version of their hibachi concept, with a focus on takeout options.

Koto Asian Bistro will occupy a 3,800 square foot space and offer a seating capacity of 135. The restaurant will feature a combination of dine-in and to-go services, with counter service for ordering. The menu will include sushi, beer, wine, soju, sake, boba tea and shaved ice.

As the opening date approaches, local residents can look forward to experiencing Tong and Ngo's take on Asian cuisine, whether dining in or taking out.
