Coast to Coast Pizza Co. Opening Third Location in Ocoee

The Coast to Coast Pizza Company brand is set to open its third location at 352 Moore Rd, Ocoee, FL 34761, co-owner Erika Rommel told Business Debut. This veteran-owned pizzeria has two other locations in Marathon and Fort Lauderdale, which are owned by Omar & Nicole Maldonado. Erika Rommel and her husband Dan are the owners bringing Coast to Coast to Ocoee. Erika's dad, Gary Foster, is also on the team and will manage front of house operations, Rommel said.

The concept focuses on perfecting pizzas and calzones, with a menu that includes New York, Detroit and Sicilian-style pies. Their cheese pizza, dubbed the "New York 7.7," gained fame after receiving a 7.7 rating from Dave Portnoy on YouTube when he reviewed the Marathon location. To celebrate the opening, the first 100 customers in line will receive a free New York 7.7 cheese pie each month for a year.

Coast to Coast prides itself on quality ingredients and preparation methods. The pizzeria ensures authenticity by replicating New York water, manually shredding high-quality Grande cheese and preparing fresh salad dressings in-house daily. Aside from their pizza, Coast to Coast is known for their award winning key lime pie, which won "Best of the Keys," Rommel said.

The new restaurant will offer counter service with 36 seats, bringing pizzas to tables for dine-in customers. The Ocoee location will feature a 40 x 12 foot mural created by two Olympia High School students Amira Martin and Charlotte Jaehnel.

Coast to Coast's motto, "Veteran crafted, New York inspired," reflects their commitment to providing business opportunities for veterans. The pizzeria plans to soft open by the end of the month.
