    Orlando-Area Carwash Sells to Private Equity for $4.75 million

    Octopus Car Wash in Mills 50 has recently been purchased by Andover Properties, Orlando Business Journal reported today. The carwash, the report states, was purchased by owners Sherman and Marly Williams in 1998 for $530,000. The address for the business is: 1401 N Mills Ave, Orlando, FL 32803.

    Andover Properties, which is headquarted in New York City, owns and operates, among other assets, car washes and storage units. Andover Properties reported that they own car washes in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.

    The private equity group's assests are heavily vested in self-storage facilities. They report on their website owning 160 facilities across 19 states.
