The Double Scoop Bringing Desserts and Coffee to Roopville

The Double Scoop, known for serving Bluebell ice cream, is expanding to a second location at 155 Old Hwy 27 S, Roopville, GA, co-owner Kevin Terry reported to Business Debut.

The family-owned business, owned by Sue Johnson and her husband Kevin Terry, plans to offer milkshakes, smoothies, frappes, espresso, specialty coffee and a selection of pastries, including donuts and danishes, much like their original location in Franklin, GA.

With hours set from 6 am - 8 pm, they aim to cater to the early-morning needs of the nearby Roopville elementary teachers, Terry reported to Business Debut. The new shop is expected to open in a couple of weeks, pending the arrival of ice cream coolers.
