I stopped at West Elm to find fall-inspired items I'd use in my own home.
    • As an interior designer, I love shopping at West Elm for myself and my clients.
    • From dinnerware to cozy duvets, West Elm carries lots of great fall home essentials .
    • I also love the rich tones in the Colin King acacia-wood side table.

As an interior designer , West Elm is consistently one of my go-to places to shop for furniture and home decor.

The store, which has over 120 locations worldwide, is known for its modern and versatile pieces.

I especially love visiting West Elm, owned by parent company Williams-Sonoma Inc., as the seasons start to change because the store offers plenty of versatile pieces to help me transition my decor from summer to fall.

Here are eight things from West Elm that I'd put in my own home this fall.

The Kanto Stoneware dinnerware set is perfect for hosting cozy dinner parties.

West Elm's Kanto Stoneware dinnerware set is perfect for fall hosting.

I always look for dinnerware that's equal parts practical and beautiful. That's why I love the Kanto Stoneware dinnerware set .

The glazed finish gives each piece great texture, and the earthy cardamom color is perfect for fall hosting.

I also love that each unique dish has subtle color variation and speckling, so no two pieces are exactly the same.

The rich tones in the Colin King acacia-wood side table add depth to any room.

Although it's technically sold as a side table, I would also use this item for extra seating in a pinch.

As a designer, I naturally gravitate toward multifunctional furniture. For example, although this piece is technically sold as a side table, I would also use it for extra seating in a pinch.

One thing West Elm does well is utilizing solid, high-quality wood for many of their pieces. Plus, the rich wood tones in the Colin King acacia-wood side table are a great way to add depth to any room for fall.

West Elm's marble trinket tray incorporates fall tones and looks luxurious.

Each marble trinket tray has its own unique veining.

I love West Elm's marble donut trinket tray because the heavy purple-breccia marble feels luxurious without a high-end price tag.

I also appreciate that each tray has unique veining. The deep tones of purple and red are also a subtle nod to the fall season.

I would style this on a coffee table or nightstand to add more personality to a space.

Add an earthy, organic element to any room with the Monti side tables.

I've used the Monti side tables from West Elm in a few design projects.

The Monti side tables are a favorite of mine for their earthy, organic finish.

If you gravitate toward a neutral color palette , layering different textures is key to keeping your room from looking too boring. This table is perfect for adding a textural element to a room as the seasons change.

I've actually used these tables in three projects so far, so I know firsthand about their great quality.

The Oyku Stoneware mug is perfect for coffee or hot apple cider.

The Oyku Stoneware mug is dishwasher-friendly.

The Oyku Stoneware mugs are hand-finished in Portugal, making each one unique.

However, they're durable enough to pop in the dishwasher after a cup of coffee or warm apple cider.

Personally, if I have to hand-wash something, it ends up in the back of my cupboard, never to be used. So, I was super excited to see that these are dishwasher-friendly.

The Cotton Cloud duvet and shams are the perfect cozy bedding for fall.

The Cotton Cloud duvet and shams offer extra warmth for colder seasons.

Come fall, I love swapping out my bedding for something warmer and extra soft. The Cotton Cloud duvet and shams are incredibly soft and offer extra warmth for colder seasons.
