This agreement was not negociated with the IAM 751 Union. It was presented to the Union after Boeing talks with acting US Secretary of Labor Julie Su. It is still a bad deal due to the take aways from the leveraged contracts of 2011 and 2014 that the company screwed its employees with the shananagins of politicians and corrupt Union leadership at the time to force a vote two weeks after a 78% no 22% yes while most of the senior employees were still in vacation from the XMAS shutdown. It "miraculously" passed 51% yes, 49% no. Boeing has a history of leveraging unsavory contracts on its workers. All we are asking for is what was taken away and caught up on wages. Even 40% raises does not catch us up to industry standards. Last raise was 1% 3 years ago, previous raise was 1% two years before that, and 2 years prior to that was a 1% raise. It has already costed more money than it would have costed them just to pay and compensate us fairly.
