Independence Day celebrations across Butler County

Butler County residents marked the 4th of July holiday with a variety of festive activities, embracing the spirit of independence the day observes. Some families gathered for barbecues, grilling hot dogs and hamburgers while children played with sparklers. Others took to the water, enjoying a day of boating and swimming. As dusk settled, many community members came together to watch one of the spectacular fireworks shows that illuminated the night. No matter how residents celebrated the holiday, upholding long standing family traditions or forging new ones, many were united in the celebration of America’s independence.
