Health department building a total loss after fire in Butler County
GREENVILLE, Ala. (WDHN) — A Sunday morning fire destroyed the building that housed the Butler County Health Department and Butler County EMA office in Greenville. Crews were called to the scene on Airport Road in Greenville at around 3:30 a.m. and when they arrived the building was fully engulfed in flames. After knocking down the flames, the building was labeled a total loss.
