Nebraska State Patrol troopers arrest Lincoln Regional Center escapee atop coal train
LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - Nebraska State Patrol troopers arrested a man Tuesday morning who had escaped from the Lincoln Regional Center. NSP reports the Butler County Sheriff’s Office reported they believed Justin Daro, 47, of David City, was at a Ulysses residence. About 10 minutes later, deputies reported he left and fled as they tried to make contact with him. Butler County deputies pursued Daro’s vehicle as he sped into Seward County; it eventually became disabled near a railroad crossing west of Tamora.

State troopers, with assistance of Butler and Seward County deputies, arrested a man on July 4 who escaped from the Lincoln Regional Center. The Lincoln Regional Center is a state psychiatric hospital inpatient and residential program, operated by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. Inmate Justin Daro escaped from the center on Tuesday.
