Missing 10-year-old Fort Wayne girl located
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — The Fort Wayne Police Department has located missing 10-year-old Kathleen Smith. Authorities issued the initial alert around 12:45 Wednesday morning. Two hours later, they reported she was found, safe.

City officials break ground on Waynedale main replacement
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - City officials held a ceremonial groundbreaking Tuesday to celebrate the replacement of a water main replacement in Waynedale. Fort Wayne Mayor Sharon Tucker, neighborhood leaders, residents of Waynedale, and City Utilities’ team members gathered in Lakewood Park to highlight the upgrade. The nearly $1 million project will provide more than a mile of a new water main along the Waynedale business corridor and into surrounding neighborhoods.
