Law enforcement authorities have reportedly uncovered explosive devices and bomb-making materials from a vehicle belonging to 20-year-old Matthew Crooks , the man who officials say made the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump .

Reports say Crooks' car was recovered from near the Trump rally on Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania, where the shooting took place.

Similar materials were also found in Crooks' home in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, according to the Associated Press. Sources briefed on the investigation told the Wall Street Journal that explosive devices were found by authorities in Crooks's car. Images showed the street of the alleged shooter’s home blocked off by police.

The FBI, the agency leading the investigation, could not be reached by the Washington Examiner for comment.

Trump was grazed in the ear by one of the bullets allegedly fired by Crooks during a rally on Saturday. One spectator was shot and killed.

Crooks was shot and killed by Secret Service moments after shots first rang out, authorities said.

Trump posted on Truth Social Sunday that “we will FEAR NOT.”

“Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers yesterday, as it was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening,” he wrote. “We will FEAR NOT, but instead remain resilient in our Faith and Defiant in the face of Wickedness. Our love goes out to the other victims and their families. We pray for the recovery of those who were wounded, and hold in our hearts the memory of the citizen who was so horribly killed. In this moment, it is more important than ever that we stand United, and show our True Character as Americans, remaining Strong and Determined, and not allowing Evil to Win. I truly love our Country, and love you all, and look forward to speaking to our Great Nation this week from Wisconsin .”
