    Butner Public Safety

    June 25, PSO M. Dominguez served a criminal summons on Tehron Deandre Farrington, 41, of Durham, for larceny by changing price tag and misdemeanor larceny. Farrington was issued a court date and ordered to appear in court.

    June 27, PSO M. Dominguez arrested Stephanie Ann Adcock, 40, of Bahama, for outstanding warrants for misdemeanor breaking and entering, and three counts of misdemeanor larceny. Adcock was issued a secured bond of $1,500 by Magistrate H. G. Herring Jr. and was placed in the Granville County Detention Center.

    June 27, PSO J. A. Mennella arrested Jessica Dawn Broyles, 29, of Oxford, and charged her with felony possession of schedule I, misdemeanor possession of schedule II, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while license revoked. Broyles was issued a secured bond of $7,000 by Magistrate H. G. Herring Jr. and was placed in the Granville County Detention Center.

    June 27, PSO A. H. Creech arrested Dustin Tyler Grissom, 30, of Stem, for an outstanding failure to appear. Grissom was issued a secured bond of $1,000 by Magistrate H. G. Herring Jr. and was placed in the Granville County Detention Center.

    June 28, Sgt. B. T. Lomena arrested Marcus Cofield, 23, of Raleigh, and charged him with possession of a firearm by a felon, felony flee and elude with a motor vehicle, careless and reckless, speeding, no operator’s license, simple possession of marijuana, driving left of center, and unsafe passing on yellow line. Cofield was issued a secured bond of $60,000 by Magistrate C. F. Knott and was placed in the Granville County Detention Center.

    June 28, PSO M. B. Butler served a criminal summons on Dewayne Keith Herndon, 56, of Butner, for school attendance violation. Herndon was issued a court date and ordered to appear in court.

    June 28, PSO M. B. Butler served a criminal summons on Andrew Alston, 52, of Butner, for school attendance violation. Alston was issued a court date and ordered to appear in court.

    June 28, PSO M. B. Butler arrested Johnnel Omar Carroll, 26, of Oxford, for an outstanding order for arrest. Carroll was issued a secured bond of $250 by Magistrate A. K. Kearney and was placed in the Granville County Detention Center.

    June 30, an assault was reported on 24th Street. There was a large fight between several subjects.

    July 1, PSO J. A. Mennella arrested Janish Imani Rollins, 22, of Durham, for an outstanding failure to appear. Rollins was issued a secured bond of $2,500 by Magistrate R. R. Roberts Jr. and was placed in the Granville County Detention Center.

    July 1, property damage was reported on Central Ave. The suspect(s) spray painted graffiti on the property.

    Creedmoor Police Department

    March 6, Christopher James Wilkins, 37, of Creedmoor was suspected in a larceny of medication. Kelly Wilkins was also listed as a suspect.

    July 3, John Fitzgerald Weeks, 59, of Wake Forest was served a warrant for misdemeanor child abuse and was taken into custody.

    July 3, Melquis Eliud Rivera Valle, 43, of Creedmoor was served a warrant for larceny of motor vehicle, obtaining property by false pretense. Valle was issued a secured bond of $40,000 by Magistrate R. Roberts and confined to Granville County Detention Center.

    Granville County Sheriff’s Office

    July 6, Michael Robert Burleson, 40, of Satellite Beach, FL was arrested for maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place with a controlled substance and issued a $20,000 active bond. He also was charged with possession marijuana paraphernalia. Burleson was charged with two counts of trafficking in marijuana and bond was set at $300,000.

    July 5, Travis Eugene Hester, 34, of Creedmoor was charged with felony disseminate obscenity and was issued a $20,000 active bond.

    July 5, Jeffery Gideon Sanders, 50, of Creedmoor was charged with communicating threats and issued a $2,000 active bond.

    July 8, Teresa Kinyon Pointer, 62, of Oxford, was charged with misdemeanor probation violation and issued a $2,500 active bond.

    Pointer made bond and was released July 8.

    July 8, Michael David Hancock, 27 of Oxford, was charged with assault on a female and issued a $2,500 active bond. Hancock made bond and was released July 9.

    July 8, Shi Ming Jtang, 40, of Brooklyn, NY was charged with conspiracy to obtain property under false pretense and issued a $40,000 active bond, impersonating law enforcement, conspiracy to obtain property under false pretense and issued an $80,000 active bond, and extortion.

    July 8, James Wilford Goodine, 23, of Oxford, was charged with assault on a female and  issued a $500 active bond.

    July 9, Christopher G Watkins, 35, of Oxford was charged with assault on a female and issued a $3,000 active bond.

    July 9, Joshua Keron Evans, 32, of Oxford was charged with domestic criminal trespass, communicating threats, cyberstalking, misdemeanor stalking and domestic violence protective order violation. He was issued a $5,000 active bond.

    July 9, Antwan Shy’Quan Majors, 25, of Oxford was charged with possession of stolen motor vehicle and issued a $20,00 active bond. Majors made bond and was released July 9.

    July 9, Anthony Shane Workman, 24, of Franklinton was charged with misdemeanor probation violation. No bond was listed on booking report.
