Golobic Wins Second in a Row With the Sprint Car Challenge Tour
CHICO, CA (July 19, 2024) — Shane Golobic picked up his second victory in a row during WST/SCCT Speedweek Friday at Silver Dollar Speedway. The victory was Golobic’s sixth feature win of the 2024 season. Dylan Bloomfield, Tanner Carrick, Justin Sanders, and Andy Forsberg rounded out the top five.
Butte County Behavioral Health working to get back online following global CrowdStrike technology outage
CHICO, Calif. - The global CrowdStrike technical outage knocked many of the departments that Butte County operates offline Friday. In a post on social media, Butte County said that staff members from their Information Systems department have been working through the night to address all of the computer issues caused by the global CrowdStrike outage.

CHICO, Calif. - The city of Chico said there is no concern for water quality at Sycamore Pool. The city said they recently received reports on social media that there were potential water quality issues at Sycamore Pool. The city said One Mile is tested weekly for coliform bacteria and all recent test results are negative, with natural levels far below any thresholds of concern.
