Cyclists tour the Lake Michigan shoreline to raise money for leukemia research
STURGEON BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - 1,000 cyclists took to the shores of Lake Michigan this weekend to raise money for research on leukemia. The Scenic Shore Bike Tour started Saturday in Mequon and wrapped up on Sunday, with cyclists each riding 150 miles. The ride benefitted The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, with cyclists of all ages gathering for the ride.
Joel Myers Jr. Wins at Plymouth
PLYMOUTH, WI (July 27, 2024) — Joel Myers Jr. won the Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association feature Saturday night at the Plymouth Dirt Track. Myers charged from eighth starting position for the victory over fifth starting Blake Nimee and 11th starting Max Guliford. Portion of Highway N in town of Buchanan to close for a month
TOWN OF BUCHANAN (WLUK) -- A stretch of Highway N in Darboy will be closed for a month. The Outagamie County Highway Department says N will be closed between the Emons/Buchanan Road roundabout to Highway CE. The Darboy Joint Sanitary District will be improving the water main. The work is in preparation for a roadway reconstruction project scheduled for 2026.
