What Are Your Favorite Easy-To-Make Desserts?

To me, ending dinner without dessert is like...ending a sentence with a period. It's practical, of course, but who wants to be practical? Ending a meal with dessert, on the other hand, is like ending a sentence with an exclamation point!

It's fun! And friendly! And enthusiastic! Yay!

I just...I love dessert. But I don't love most dessert recipes, because some of them are super overwhelming.

They'll read: "Combine your sugar, which should be 10 degrees Fahrenheit, with your egg whites, which should have been whisked at 2 degrees Celsius. Add in the ancient grains, and by 'ancient,' we also mean 'fresh.' They're 'fresh ancient.' Don't ask." Etc., etc.
