There's a LOT — and I mean, A LOT — of great TV shows these days, so to help with your fall planning, I've rounded up 45 shows that are premiering or returning in mid-August through early December 2024 that you should mark on your calendars:

1. First, Pachinko Season 2
This epic and award-worthy show returns with Season 2, as it continues Sunja's (Minha Kim and Yuh-Jung Youn) story across four generations. In this new season, the parallel stories pick up in Osaka in 1945, where Sunja is forced to make dangerous decisions for her family's survival during World War II. Then, in Tokyo, in 1989, Solomon (Jin Ha) is adjusting to his new beginnings.

2. Only Murders in the Building Season 4
Only Murders in the Building Season 4 picks up right after the Season 3 cliffhanger, with Charles ( Steve Martin ), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel ( Selena Gomez ) discovering that Sazz ( Jane Lynch ) has died. With Charles clearly meant to be the intended victim, this mystery takes our trio to places they've never explored before, like the other wing of the Arconia. Meanwhile, all of this is happening as a big Hollywood studio is interested in turning their podcast into a movie. 3. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2
Following the Season 1 finale, which featured Sauron returning, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power hits the ground running with more action, lore, heart, and more. After being cast out by Galadriel (Morfydd Clark), the Dark Lord is facing a world without an army. He must now rely on his own strength and cunning to rebuild and oversee the creator of the Rings of Power.

4. English Teacher
Created by Brian Jordan Alvarez, English Teacher follows Evan Marquez (Alvarez), a high school teacher in Texas who is just trying to reach his students while also growing professionally. 6. The Perfect Couple

Based on the podcast Gladiator: Aaron Hernandez and Football Inc. , this new limited series follows the rise and fall of NFL player Aaron Hernandez (Josh Andrés Rivera). The series will explore his rise within the New England Patriots organization as a tight end, his arrest and conviction for the murder of Odin Lloyd in 2013, and then Aaron's death in 2017.

Now, Agatha is trying to regain her power as she decides to walk the Witches' Road with a new coven. Agatha All Along is a sequel to WandaVision and from the same writers, so I would strap in for a great new series that will surely be filled with tons of Easter eggs and details .

13. Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story
The second installment of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan's true crime anthology series, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, chronicles the case of real-life brothers, Erik (Cooper Koch) and Lyle (Nicholas Chavez), who were convicted in 1996 for the murders of their parents, José (Javier Bardem) and Kitty Menendez (Chloë Sevigny). The series explores the case where the prosecution argued they wanted to inherit their family fortune, while the brothers, who are still adamant to this day while serving life sentences, that they committed these crimes out of fear after years of alleged abuse.

21. Heartstopper Season 3
Heartstopper Season 3 continues following the blossoming (and adorable) relationship between Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie (Joe Locke). In this new season, the duo continues to be more vulnerable with each other as their relationship grows, changes, and deepens as they enter adulthood and face another school year filled with joys and challenges. Mental health, sex, university ambitions, and more are some of the big themes in this new season, which will also see some new faces joining the cast including Hayley Atwell and Jonathan Bailey. Heartstopper Season 3 will also finally introduce the beloved graphic novel character Michael Holden (Darragh Hand).

23. Abbott Elementary Season 4
It's a brand-new school year at Abbott, and who knows what will happen. This new season picks up after the events of the Season 3 finale, which featured the long-awaited kiss between Janine (Quinta Brunson) and Gregory (Tyler James Williams). Not much is known about what specific storylines Abbott Elementary will explore this year, but Brunson did hint that there will be an "interesting crossover this season."

Gilles Mingasson / Disney / ABC24. Outer Banks Season 4
The Pogues are back with a new adventure when Outer Banks returns with Season 4. In the Season 3 finale, we got an 18-month flash-forward, which showed the Pogues getting an interesting proposition to go find Blackbeard's illusive treasure. Now, we get to see what leads up to that moment as Season 4 sends us back in time a little bit to see exactly what happened after John B. (Chase Stokes), Sarah (Madelyn Cline), Kiara (Madison Bailey), JJ (Rudy Pankow), Pope (Jonathan Daviss), and Cleo (Carlacia Grant) returned to OBX with the gold from El Dorado. After settling back into a somewhat normal life, but experiencing some set backs, our group soon takes up the proposal to hunt for the treasure.

Keri Russell returns in The Diplomat Season 2 after an explosive cliffhanger last season. After Kate (Russell) realized the attack on the British warship was carried out by the British prime minister, Kate now must deal with who to trust while also dealing with the fallout of the literal bomb explosion in the Season 1 finale. Alongside the returning cast, Allison Janney joins the cast as United States Vice President Grace Penn.

Based on the novel of the same name, Sweetpea follows Rhiannon Lewis (Ella Purnell), a seemingly average girl who no one really pays attention to. Suddenly, Rhiannon's entire life is turned upside down, and soon, she transforms from the wallflower everyone ignored to someone who is stepping into her new power while holding onto a killer secret.

35. Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2
The last episodes of what is likely the final season of Yellowstone finally start airing after nearly a two-year wait since the mid-season finale. It's a new year at Essex College, which means even more shenanigans for our favorite girls to get up to.
