Two Indicted For Making False Reports
Two Mercer County residents have been indicted on multiple counts of filing false reports over the past year. Dakota L. Milton, 21, and Anastasia M. Wellbaum, 23, both of 851 South College Street No. A12, Harrodsburg, were indicted by the Mercer County Grand Jury last week on multiple class D felony counts of filing false reports which generated an emergency response in 2024.

2024 Kentucky Football Foes: Ole Miss
Well, here’s an episode I’ve seen before. Two years ago, the Kentucky Wildcats and Will Levis were 4-0 four weeks into the season before a trip to Oxford, Mississippi. They carried a top-10 record into the game, but everybody had their doubts, and any time you asked a UK fan, “Whatdya think bout the Ole Miss game?” they’d say, “I dunno...[shake their head]...I dunno.” In short, they were favored, but everybody thought winning there would be too good to be true. And it was.
