ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - St. Louis Metropolitan Police are investigating after a 15-year-old boy was shot Friday evening in the College Hill neighborhood. Police said officers responded around 8:30 p.m. to the area of Emily Street and Obear Avenue for a report of a shooting. At the scene, the victim told officers he was walking on John Street when he heard gunfire and then realized he had been shot.

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KFVS) - A Navy Veteran from Poplar Bluff has lost over 160 pounds through the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center’s weight-loss program. According to a release from the VAMC, in 2018, Navy Veteran Ronald Kraus weighed a self-described “miserable” 461 pounds and suffered from persistent back and knee pain so bad that, at times, he didn’t want to live.
