GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – For a lot of reasons, many people in our community are struggling with homelessness, hunger, addiction and other challenges. Today, we’re going to focus specifically on homelessness and how some are trying to find solutions for local women and children in need. Gateway Mission Women & Children’s Center in Holland is seeing record numbers now, and as they look ahead to the future, the colder months where they know their numbers will climb higher and they are trying to come up with solutions.
