A 33-year-old man and 32-year-old woman from Green Bay are facing charges after vehicle chases in Winnebago and Fond du Lac counties Sunday night that culminated with the suspect vehicle crashing into a tree in the City of Fond du Lac. The crash occurred after a Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputy used a maneuver to strike the vehicle causing it to go out of control. During the pursuit of the stolen vehicle the Green Bay man driving it almost hit multiple vehicles not involved in the chase, avoided tire deflation devices, and attempts to get it off the streets and highways it was traveling on. The pursuit lasted 15 miles in Fond du Lac County. The driver was treated for minor injuries at a hospital. A deputy took the passenger to a hospital to be evaluated for minor injuries. The man and woman are facing multiple charges and had active warrants. Among the charges they are facing are fleeing and eluding, vehicle theft, recklessly endangering safety, drug charges and more.

Manitowoc manufacturing plant to pay $85K for violating Wisconsin air pollution laws
MANITOWOC, Wis. (WFRV) – The state of Wisconsin and a manufacturing plant in Manitowoc have reached a settlement after the company violated air pollution laws. Kerry Inc. must pay $85,000 to resolve violations of Wisconsin’s air laws related to operating a liquid smoke manufacturing facility in Manitowoc. The Manitowoc County Circuit Court approved the settlement on July 11.
