Minn. man pleads guilty in armed robbery case
BARRON COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) - A Minnesota man pleaded guilty Friday in the armed robbery and assault of an elderly man in Barron in December. Court documents show that on July 19, 33-year-old Ryan Charpentier of Little Canada, Minn., pleaded guilty to armed robbery as party to a crime with an increased penalty for an elder person victim. Charpentier was charged as one of two suspects in the armed robbery and assault of an elderly man in Barron, Wis., on Dec. 19, 2023.

Eight-Player All-Star Game on Friday - Denzel Sutton (Thorp) caught a 28-yard touchdown pass from T.J. Lamb (Almond-Bancroft) to secure a 36-34 win for the North squad over the South. Lamb completed 20-of-30 passes for 227 yards and three touchdowns. Sutton caught nine passes for 102 yards and two touchdowns, adding 25 rushing yards and 15 passing yards as well.
