ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Thursday features more rounds of showers and storms. As moisture levels remain elevated, the excessive rainfall outlook continues to highlight a marginal risk for flash flooding across the area. Highs for the day will be impacted by the rainfall and cloud cover leaving many in the upper 80s and low 90s.
Construction On Georgia’s Largest Buc-ee’s Has Begun
After breaking ground in January, construction has finally begun on what will be Georgia’s biggest Buc-ee’s. The project, located off I-95 near Brunswick, is hard to miss if you’re traveling along the Georgia coast. According to Savannah Morning News, Buc-ee’s is currently building a 74,000 square-foot location with 120 fuel pumps, making it the largest location in the state. The new Brunswick location will surpass Georgia’s two other Buc-ee’s (in Fort Valley and Adairsville) by more than 20,000 square feet.
