Some 20 charitable and advocacy organizations in the area took part in the second annual Community Heroes EXPO, held by the Brunswick County Democratic Party at its Bolivia headquarters Aug. 3. Appeals Court Judge Gore receives promotion
Judge W. Fred Gore of the North Carolina Court of Appeals was recently promoted from Major in the United States Army Reserve Judge Advocate Generals Corp (USAR JAG Corp) to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
