Wrestling Team Earns Multiple Conference and State Honors

Members of the Caledonia/Houston wrestling team earned a number of individual honors for their work this season. The following awards were presented at the year-end celebration on Sunday, March 17:

Three Rivers All Conference: Owen Denstad, Isaac Blocker, Braxton Lange, Tanner Ginther, Aden Kulas, Aiden Burns.

Three Rivers All Conference Honorable Mention: Cooper Allen.

Athletic-Academic All-Conference: Owen Denstad, Braxton Lange, Tanner Ginther, Aiden Burns, Logan Kinstler, Mason VanGundy.

Distinguished Academic Achievement Award (GPA 3.6-4.0 while participating in interscholastic activities): Owen Denstad, Braxton Lange.

Outstanding Academic Achievement Award (GPA 3.0-3.59 while participating in interscholastic activities): Isaac Blocker, Tanner Ginther, Will Allen, Aiden Burns, Caden Hauser.

All-State: Owen Denstad (2nd), Isaac Blocker (6th).

Academic All State: Owen Denstad.

The team also earned an Academic Award using our 10 best GPAs on the team and have a combined GPA of 3.0-3.49 to Achieve the Silver Plaque.
