Boys and girls golf takes on three meets in the week

The Caledonia Area golf teams took on three meets last week.

First off, the Warriors went against Fillmore Central at Ma Cal Grove Country Club on Monday, April 29; second, against Rushford-Peterson at the Ma Cal Grove Country Club on Tuesday, April 30; and, last, on Friday against La Crescent-Hokah at the Valley High Golf Course.

Scores for boys and girls against Fillmore Central are as follows:

Girls: Fillmore Central 187, Caledonia 211

Jazzlyn Hauser 49 (third), Hayden Harms 50 (fifth), and Alexis Sauer 56 (eighth)

Boys: Fillmore Central 174, Caledonia 183

JT Hammell 41 (second), Carson Klug 44 (third)

Against Rushford Peterson

Girls: Caledonia 217, Rushford-Peterson (short of full team)

Jazzlyn Hauser 45 (first), Maggie Herman 48 (second), Hayden Harms 55 (third), Megan Glasspoole 74 (eighth)

Boys – Rushford Peterson 178, Caledonia 192

Next up for the girls is a golf invitational at the Somerby Golf Club in Byron on Monday, May 6. The boys don’t have another meet until they go with the girls to Wabasha-Kellogg at the Coffee Mill Golf Course in Wabasha Friday, May 10.
