Caledonia Area Lady Warriors golf had a big week, including a significant day at the Byron Invitational and the prestigious Somerby Golf Club on Monday, May 6, as well as an away meet against Wabasha-Kellogg at the Coffee Mill Golf Course on Friday, May 10.

    At the Byron Invitational

The Byron Invitational was fairly huge, with 17 teams and 95 individual golfers hitting the course May 10. The course is very complex and difficult, but it gave this young girls golf team a lot of experience to learn and improve as they competed.

As a team, the Warriors placed 9th out of 17, which is a great accomplishment at this invitational, and individually, their scores were impressive as well.

Jaazlyn Hauser shot a 95, Alexis Sauer 99, Hayden Harms 103, Maggie Herman 105, Ellison Harms 114, and Emersyn Klug 129.

    At Wabasha-Kellogg

At the Coffee Mill Golf Course, the girls hit the links once again, and the team put up great numbers in this meet as well, playing nine holes:

Jazzlyn Hauser shot a 45, Maggie Herman 47, Hayden Harms 48, Alexis Sauer 53, Ellison Harms 60, and Emersyn Klug 61.

    This week

The girls will have an invite at Wabasha once again on Monday, May 13, an invite at Lake City on Wednesday, May 15, and finally a meet in Rushford-Peterson on Friday, May 17.
