Marist men’s soccer lost in blowout fashion for the second consecutive match, falling 6-1 to Marquette on a sweltering Milwaukee afternoon. Coming off a season-opening 4-1 loss at the hands of Wisconsin and in search of their first win, Marist (0-2) reinserted junior midfielder Skyler Cunha into the starting lineup. Led by first-year coach David Korn, Marquette (2-0) dominated the first-ever meeting between these two teams, with junior midfielder Mitchell Dryden leading the way with a pair of goals.

It wasn't shocking that the Milwaukee Bucks didn't rush to re-sign Danilo Gallinaro once free agency opened several months back. Coming over via the buyout market last season, Gallinari didn't dazzle in his 17 regular season games with the Bucks, averaging 2.8 points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.7 assists per contest. Man convicted in fatal Waupaca County drunk driving crash that killed good Samaritan
WAUPACA (WLUK) – Evan Barnick was convicted Monday for the drunk driving crash which killed a good Samaritan helping another motorist. Barnick, 21, pleaded no contest to three counts, including homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle, first-degree reckless endangering safety, and violating a court order for an ignition interlock device. Four other counts, including hit and run involving death, were dismissed. Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 4.
Ozone advisory issued for lakeshore counties, including Racine
RACINE, WI — The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resouces (DNR) has issued an ozone advisory from 2 to 11 p.m. for Sun., Aug. 24. The advisory affects the lakeshore counties stretching from Door County to Kenosha; Door, Kewaunee, Manitowac, Ozaukee, Milwaukee, Racine, and Kenosha. Ozone advisory for sensitive groups.
Racine Zoo previews calendar of events closing out summer
RACINE, Wis (CBS 58) -- Beth Heidorn, Executive Director of the Racine Zoo, previewed several upcoming events taking place at the zoo when she joined us on Monday, Aug. 26.
