Donoho’s Blair Kitchen is the 2024 East Alabama Sports Today All-Calhoun County player of the year for girls’ tennis, and Oxford’s Kai McEwen takes top honors on the boys’ side. Both won their courts at the Red Wilder Invitational, the de facto county tournament. Kitchen went unbeaten during the regular season and sectional, her lone loss coming in the state Class 4A-5A No. 2 singles final. McEwen was 9-1 in singles and 5-3 in doubles matches in the regular season and won the No. 1 singles court in the Class 6A, Section 3.
