    Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office Seek Public Assistance in Recent Property Crime Investigations

    Calhoun County, AL – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is actively engaged in investigations related to recent property crimes and is reaching out to the public for assistance. By fostering community involvement, the Sheriff’s Office aims to enhance public safety and bring those responsible for criminal activities to justice.

    Incident 1: Sometime between 8/10/24 and 8/11/24 a residence was broken into on Church Street in Hobson City.  A safe containing a large amount of money and a purple and silver Sccy firearm was stolen.

    Incident 2: Sometime between 8/17/24 and 8/19/24, a stand-alone ice machine was damaged on Hwy 431 in Alexandria. The machine was cut into and pieces were broken off.
