Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office Seek Public Assistance in Recent Property Crime Investigations

Calhoun County, AL – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is actively engaged in investigations related to recent property crimes and is reaching out to the public for assistance. Incident 1: Sometime between 8/10/24 and 8/11/24 a residence was broken into on Church Street in Hobson City.  A safe containing a large amount of money and a purple and silver Sccy firearm was stolen.

Incident 2: Sometime between 8/17/24 and 8/19/24, a stand-alone ice machine was damaged on Hwy 431 in Alexandria. The machine was cut into and pieces were broken off.
