Jacksonville State University to Host 5th Annual StrongOne Games

Jacksonville, AL – Jacksonville State University’s University Recreation Center (UREC) is gearing up to host the 5th Annual StrongOne Games on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Bennett Field. This fitness competition is open to both the campus community and the public, offering a thrilling challenge for fitness enthusiasts aged 18 and up.

The StrongOne Games are designed to test participants’ strength, endurance, speed, and agility through a series of mixed events. Competitors will be judged and awarded in different heats, categorized by age and weight divisions, ensuring a fair and exciting competition for all.

Event Details:

• Location: Bennett Field, Jacksonville State University
• Check-In: 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
• Event Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Awards Ceremony: 12:30 p.m.

• Bench Press
• Sled Drive
• Tire Flip
• Deadlift
• Hammer Hold
• Farmers Carry
• And MORE!

Each participant who registers will receive a swag bag filled with fitness-related goodies, their bib number, a special event t-shirt, and a raffle ticket for a chance to win a large prize giveaway. Spectators are encouraged to come out and enjoy the event, with food trucks, appearances by Cocky, and performances by the Jax State Cheerleaders adding to the lively atmosphere.

Registration Information:

Participants must register by September 24, 2024, or earlier if capacity is reached. A weigh-in will be required for proper weight division placement, and participants will receive detailed competition day information after registration.

• Jax State Students: $25
• Returning Participants: $30
• First-Time Participants: $40

Prizes:

Podium winners in each age and weight division will receive a placement medal or trophy, along with a variety of special products from Barbell Apparel, including a Barbell Bag, Barbell Shakers, a Barbell Hat, and a $50 gift card to the Barbell Apparel website.
