    Pell City, AL – Ohatchee surges to championship of Pell City Gold Rush tourney, and Munford takes second. Also, reports from Oxford, Pleasant Valley and Alexandria from Supreme Courts.

    Ohatchee went 4-0 to win the Pell City Gold Rush Tournament, beating Clay-Chalkville 25-8, 25-11, Weaver 25-14, 25-15, Pell City 20-25, 25-21, 15-13 and Munford 22-25, 27-25, 15-10.

    Ohatchee’s top performers:

    —Alanah Fitch: 30 kills, 61 assists, seven aces, 13 digs, three blocks.
    —Brett Finn: five kills, five aces, two digs, five blocks.
    —Rebecca Henderson: 47 kills, 13 aces, 13 digs, three blocks.
    —Kate Ryan: three kills, 22 assists, one ace, eight digs.
    —Emily Riddle: 10 kills, three aces, two blocks.
    —Ayla Crook: 15 kills, four aces, 14 digs.
    —Bailey Fowler: four kills, three aces, four blocks.
    —Savannah Reaves: 30 digs.
    —Greenlee Orman: four kills.

    MUNFORD: The Lions finished as runners up in the Pell City Gold Rush Tournament, Childersburg 25-8, 25-8, St. Clair County 25-22, 23-25, 15-3 and White Plains 25-15, 25-15 then falling to Ohatchee 25-23, 25-27, 10-15.

    Munford’s top performers:

    —Raleigh Dew: four aces, six digs.
    —Breanna Hailes: three aces, 11 digs.
    —Lauryn Brewster: 21 kills, seven blocks.
    —Mylie Stephens: eight aces, 30 kills, three blocks, 10 digs.
    —Christiny Putnam: 17 kills, three blocks.
    —Kastin Lathem: seven aces, 26 assists, four digs.
    —Ashtyn Bishop: nine aces, 13 assists, 19 digs.
    —Faith Jacobs: four kills, seven blocks.
    —Brooklyn Pressley: five aces, six assist, eight kills, seven digs.

    OXFORD: Playing in the Tournament of Champions at Guntersville’s Supreme Courts, the Yellow Jackets lost to Pace 19-25, 20-25, beat Siegel 27-25, 25-14, beat Oak Mountain 25-20, 26-24 then lost to Bob Jones 25-11, 25-10 in gold bracket play.

    Oxford’s top performers:

    —Payton Brooks: 28 digs, 75 assists, one block.
    —Arilyn Pool: 21 digs, three aces.
    —Daelyn Bozeman: 22 digs, one block, five kills.
    —Mileah Prince: 23 kills.
    —Jaslyn Montgomery: 23 kills, three blocks.
    —Ava Thomas: 31 kills.

    PLEASANT VALLEY: Playing in the Tournament of Champions at Guntersville’s Supreme Courts, the Raiders lost to Creekview, Summit, Guntersville and Spain Park.

    Top performers for Pleasant Valley:

    —Lily Henry: 18 kills, nine blocks, 26 digs, one assist.
    —Madison Schwabe: 11 kills, five blocks, five blocks, 32 digs.
    —Ellie Patterson: seven kills, seven blocks, three aces, four digs.

    —Cailey Almaroad: one block, two aces, 14 digs, one assist.

    ALEXANDRIA: Playing in the Tournament of Champions at Guntersville’s Supreme Courts, the Valley Cubs lost to Cleveland (Tenn.) 18-25, 20-25, lost to MIlton (Ga.) 11-25, 15-25, lost to Spain Park 14-25, 25-23, 7-15, beat Oak Mountain 25-18, 25-23, beat James Clemons 25-20, 23-25, 15-13 and lost to Creekview (Tenn.) 22-25, 17-25.

    Alexandria’s top performers:

    —McKinley Cooper: 10 kills, six digs, one ace.
    —Eryn Spradley: 51 kills, one assist, 16 digs, nine blocks, one ace.
    —Kylie Jeffers: 18 kills, one dig, seven blocks.
