Anniston, AL – Beginning Monday, September 23rd, contractors will start milling and resurfacing work at the intersections of 10th, 12th, 13th, and 14th Streets at Noble Street. Additionally, 14th Street from Noble to Moore Avenue will undergo similar improvements.

The project, which is expected to be completed by November 1st, will be done in phases to minimize disruption. Here’s what residents and commuters can expect:

    • One intersection closure at a time during milling operations. Once milling is finished, the intersection will reopen, and work will move to the next.
    • Resurfacing will occur on separate days after milling is completed at each intersection.
    • Expect closures during weekday working hours with signs and barricades in place to give drivers advanced notice.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling in these areas, as delays may occur. For more information, please contact the Anniston Engineering Department at (256) 231-7750.
