Korean food may not be as popular throughout the country as other Asian cuisines such Chinese or Japanese, but it has become a solid contender these past few years. The Los Angeles area is lucky enough to have a large Korean population, especially in Koreatown, and they have brought their awesome cuisine of barbecued meats and fermented vegetables to the masses. Savory meats grilled right in front of you that pair nicely with an overwhelming variety of vegetable options. Whether you are new to Korean food or you are looking for a new place to try, read on to learn about the three best Korean food restaurants in all of Los Angeles.
As with most trips out for Korean barbecue, I make sure to show up hungry. For just $33.39, you get all-you-can-eat beef, pork, and chicken cooked on their traditional stone grill. Located on 6th street in the Koreatown area of Los Angeles, they allow 30 different items in their all-you-can-eat menu, so there are plenty of options and there's a little bit of something for everyone. I always partake in their spicy Canadian bacon thin-sliced port belly, beef short ribs, and barbecue squid. Their style of marinating is some of the best I've ever had, especially the pork ribs. I like to make sure I have room for all of the wonderful banchans because they go really well with the main meats. My personal favorites include the kimchi fried rice and steamed egg.
With multiple locations in Southern California, that should mean that there is a Baekjeong not too far from you. Of course, even if you are not nearby, I promise this place is worth the trip. They have plenty of great meat options to choose from. When I visit, I order the premium pork jowl and their thinly sliced beef brisket. The quality is amazing here and I think I've tried all their meats by now and each one is better than the last. They also serve up a great variety of sides that most Korean places offer but my favorite here has to be the corn and cheese. I make sure to save room for the dried seaweed and radish kimchi cold noodles because their meats are so delicious I sometimes forget there's other sides to enjoy.

Located on Main Street, Road to Seoul is worth a visit when on your next trip to Los Angeles. Their all-you-can-eat menu boasts the best cuts of meat and tastiest seafoods. They barbecue everything from pork skin to a whole squid. Their bulgogi, a thinly sliced marinated beef dish, is some of the best around. If I had to choose, I would say that my personal favorite is the black pork bacon style. They offer a variety of vegetable options as well as soups and noodles. For the sake lovers, they offer a wide variety of rice wines served either hot or cold.
