    2021-06-18

The Las Vegas strip is a destination for people from all over the world. It attracts all types of tourists and has events and attractions for just about everyone. Some people may enjoy seeing a hit show, and others may enjoy having their name custom printed on M&Ms. When you visit Las Vegas, you will not be bored. You also will not be hungry. There are plenty of fancy spots to eat as well as restaurants catering to those who will roll in well after midnight for some late night eats. Narrowing down the best spots was no easy task, so I have a few more to share. Keep reading to learn what to eat when you visit Las Vegas.

    Earl of Sandwich

Who doesn’t love a good sandwich? With multiple locations on the Las Vegas Strip, Earl of Sandwich is great place to visit for a grab-and-go option any time of the day. Come early and try one of their Breakfast BLTs. Though they offer many ways to customize, they really did get it right with their Original 1762. It features their savory roast beef with cheddar and horseradish sauce. I've been told for years that Earl of Sandwich is one of the best sandwich spots around and for some reason I never believed it because I've always been an Ike's Sandwiches fan. But once I tried that first bite, I realize that it's definitely on the same level is Ike's. For those who are trying to limit their carbs, they offer a number of great wraps and fresh salads. And though Vegas is not known for having soup weather, try a bowl of their broccoli and cheddar soup.

What I recommend: Original 1762 with roast beef

    Secret Pizza

Shhh! No seriously, don’t tell anyone. In fact, this pizza spot located somewhere in the Cosmopolitan didn’t even have a name until recently. It is not advertised within the casino and there is no sign on its discrete door. Fans of this spot just started calling it Secret Pizza. Somewhere, and I am not going to spoil the fun and tell you exactly where, on the third floor is this spot which serves up whole pies or slices to rival the streets of Manhattan. There is no need to get fancy here. Order up a slice of pepperoni pizza, and you will not be disappointed. The pizza is good quality and there's not much of a line probably because not a lot of people know about it. I actually stumbled upon it accidentally and the people there told me they try to keep it a secret to everyone. They are open late, so it is the perfect spot to end a night out.

What I recommend: Classic pepperoni pizza

    Tacos El Gordo

You may be thinking that a taco is a taco. That is just not the case when it comes to street tacos. Just as they serve them on the streets of Tiajuana, the tacos at Tacos El Gordo feature smaller corn tortillas stuffed with savory meats, cilantro, and onions. Since ordering just one sound nuts, try a few. My favorites include their carne asada and chorizo. For anyone who wants to be a tad more adventurous, try the lengua – or beef tongue – street tacos.

What I recommend: beef tongue tacos

Location: 3041 S Las Vegas Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89109

If you are an early riser who wants to try a great breakfast option, or you if you are the type who will be going to be when that early riser is ordering eggs, Las Vegas will have something to cater to you. The best part about the above options is that they will leave you with some money in your pocket for those slot machines.
