Sin City takes in its fair share of other people’s money thanks to their casinos. One of the best things about the Seven Magic Mountains is that they are free of charge! This colorful public art piece is located about 10 miles outside of Vegas. It is such a great place for photo ops and I've seen a lot of engagements happen here. I came here for the first time four years ago and they said it was going away at the end of 2018 but it's now 2021 and it's still here. The whole family will enjoy these colorful, cleverly stacked boulders. The art project will be on display through the rest of 2021, so go see it while it is still around.
What I recommend doing: Go in the late afternoon where you have golden hour
Located about 50 miles outside of Las Vegas, the Valley of Fire is a large nature preserve. Though it is not free to enter the park, it is a mere $10 per car to visit. They even offer camping for $20. It is another great place to check out for photo ops because the colors are orange but it makes beautiful pictures. It is a great spot to check out the amazing sandstone scenery while burning off some calories that may have been put on at the buffet.
What I recommend: Come in the morning because it get ridiculously hot here
Location: 29450 Valley Of Fire Rd Overton, NV 89040
You may get a bit lucky and spot a few celebrities on your trip to Vegas. If that does not happen, head on over to Madame Tussauds to see them in wax form which may just be the next best thing. Located inside the Venetian, tickets cost $29.95 per adult and $24.95 for the kids. Snap some pictures with the likes of Beyonce, Elvis Pressley, or your favorite Marvel star. Plan to spend up to 90 minutes exploring the wax museum and getting those perfect shots for Instagram.
What I recommend: Go early on weekends on afternoon on weekdays to avoid the crowd
Locaation: 3377 S Las Vegas Blvd Ste 2001 The Grand Canal Shoppes Las Vegas, NV 89109
Any fans of superheroes are going to want to check out Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. This all-ages attraction is both interactive and educational. Tickets start at $34 for adults and $24 for children. It Is located inside of Treasure Island on the third floor. It is easy to say that the kids will absolutely love this place, but if I am being honest, the adults are going to love it as well.
Location: 3300 Las Vegas Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89109
Now that you have seen a few new ways to spend your time in Las Vegas, which of these fun adventures will you go on? Are you looking to splurge or wanting to stay on a tight budget? No matter which you chose, there will be plenty of fun and entertaining options for people of all ages.
