It takes you over the Colorado River and boasts amazing views of the Hoover Dam. Named for a former Nevada Governor and an American war hero (go Sun Devils and go Cardinals!), the bridge offers parking so that you may get out and walk along it to take it all in. The best part of a trip to this bridge is that it is free, and that is a rare find in and around Las Vegas. It is quite a drive from the casinos so the last time I came here, I took a bus. The views are amazing and the pictures last forever so if you have some time, take a trip out here.
