What to do When in Las Vegas Part 4

    2021-07-06

It is a well-known fact that anyone who is spending more than a couple of days in the city of Las Vegas is bound to grow tired of slots and buffets by about day three. Rather than spend all your time indoors, consider treating yourself to more of what the city has to offer. From historic modern marvels to exotic cars, I insist that you consider branching out and trying some not-so-ordinary expeditions. Read on to learn more about what to do when in Las Vegas.

Formally known as the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, this fairly new engineering marvel was constructed in 2010. It takes you over the Colorado River and boasts amazing views of the Hoover Dam. Named for a former Nevada Governor and an American war hero (go Sun Devils and go Cardinals!), the bridge offers parking so that you may get out and walk along it to take it all in. The best part of a trip to this bridge is that it is free, and that is a rare find in and around Las Vegas. It is quite a drive from the casinos so the last time I came here, I took a bus. The views are amazing and the pictures last forever so if you have some time, take a trip out here.

No offense to Enterprise or Budget, but if you are going to be driving in Vegas, why not go big? Dream Exotics is not the place to go to rent base model sedans. They offer daily rates on everything from an Astin Martin Vantage to a Ferrari 458 Italian Coupe. The first time I rented out a Ferrari for my birthday will be one of the coolest days of my life. They will even come drop it off and pick it up so all you have to worry about is enjoying yourself as you and your pals cruise the world-famous strip in style.

Remember the times when Las Vegas was not considered kid-friendly? I am happy to share that this is no longer the case. This is a literal playground that allows you to use professional-level equipment within the safety of their five-acre park. And though I am certain that your kids will love it, it is hard to deny that the adult kids will probably love it even more. Individual digs start as low as $20, so you can have fun while not spending an arm and a leg.

When you start planning and budgeting for your next trip to Las Vegas, consider the above options for an experience that is a tad off the beaten path. With options ranging from free to the exotic, there is a party waiting for you at every possible price point.

Las Vegas is close to dire straits ... all these people and the water supply is almost gone? Now what? Million dollar homes will sell for pennies on the dollar.
