What to Do When Visiting Las Vegas Part 7

If none of the events and attraction I have described so far in Las Vegas seem like your cup of tea, then fear not. By the time I am done telling you about all of the fun that there is to be had in Sin City, they will probably come up with even more amazing events and attractions. The city has evolved into a vacation spot that has something for everyone, and it may take more than just a long weekend to experience everything. Keep reading to learn more about what to do when visiting Las Vegas.

The Volcano (Mirage)

If you want to save as much money as you can to put towards the slots and table games, then you will want to take in as many of the free attractions that the strip has to offer. Amongst the oldest is the Mirage Volcano Eruption Show. You can catch this explosive and free show every night of the week from 8 pm to 11 pm on the hour. It is a great opportunity to take some awesome pictures as well. Whenever I visit the Mirage, I try to take some time and visit the Volcano because they do such a good job creating a realistic version of a real volcano plus if you come in the winter, it's a good source of heat.

Mystic Falls Park

Located at Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall, Mystic Falls is just East of the Las Vegas Strip. You will love watching the water show which features rolling waterfalls under their beautiful skylight. It is located right in the middle of the casino floor at Sam’s, so you can come by to enjoy it any time of day. The whole gang is sure to enjoy the robotic animals and live trees. There is no cost to view, so hang out and put your feet up to take it all in.

Gondola Ride at the Venetian

A trip across the pond to Venice, Italy may not be in everyone’s budget. If you would like to be serenaded while riding in a gondola, then the Venetian may just be the next best thing. With tickets starting at $34 per person, it is a great idea for a romantic evening. If you are not there for the romance, friends and families alike enjoy the experience and the amazing photos that come along with it.

Fremont Street Experience

Decades ago, this was the place to be in Las Vegas. Once the new strip came to life, many people have forgotten about that a great time can be had at Fremont Street. Their amazing, and of course free, light show is a must-see attraction. They even feature live music every night of the week. And here is a pro tip for anyone visiting this part of Vegas: this is where the deals are. The restaurants and bars will cost a fraction of what you will pay on the strip, so feel free to spend your entire trip in this part of town so that you can come home with a little more money in your pocket.

Sometimes in Vegas, I spend thousands, other times I spend barely anything and it's because there's so many things to do in Vegas that not everything requires money to have a blast here.
