Tennessee man faces drug charges after multi-county pursuit
A Tennessee man faces drug and other charges after a high-speed pursuit from Trigg County into Calloway County Monday morning. The Trigg County Sheriff's Office said the operator, 26-year-old Lemonte Newsome of Hendersonville, Tennessee, led officers at speeds around 120 mph as they pursued Newsome along US 68 into Calloway County.

Murray man arrested on indictment warrant
A Murray man was arrested Monday on an indictment warrant. The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said 34-year-old Robert Lima was arrested on the warrant that was issued in May by the Calloway County Circuit Court. At the time of his arrest he was out on bond from similar charges in Marshall County earlier this year.
Murray man arrested on marijuana trafficking charges
MURRAY – A Murray man was arrested Monday after being indicted by a grand jury for trafficking marijuana and being a persistent felony offender. According to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office, Robert Lima, 34, of Murray, was arrested on an indictment warrant that was issued in May 2024 by the Calloway County Circuit Court. At the time of his arrest, he was out on bond from similar charges in Marshall County earlier this year.
Almo man arrested following weekend altercation
An Almo man was arrested following a Saturday night disturbance. The Calloway County Sheriff's Office was called to the incident near Irvin Cobb Road where 62 year old Bobby Etheridge was believed to be in possession of a stolen firearm in which he used to threaten others in a physical altercation.
