Eyewitness of Attempted Assassination Shared Details With Len & Michael

Len Berman and Michael Riedel talked with Tom Smith, a high school principal from Cambria County, PA near Butler PA. where the assassination attempt on former President Trump happened Saturday afternoon.

Tom recounted how he and his wife were excited about attending the Trump rally to participating in their political freedoms when everything changed. Trump had just started speaking 10-15 minutes before when you heard "pop" "pop"... at first people thought it was a fireworks prank, but that was quickly forgotten when someone yelled those are gunshots. Tom described the Secret Service springing into action to secure Trump's safety. Smith also shared his thoughts on strangers helping each other despite the obvious danger  He also asked Len and Michael listeners to remember the family of Corey Comperatore. The firefighting father, who was killed while protecting his family from the assassin's sniper fire.
