Experience the Magic of a Family Whale Watch Trip ~ GIVEAWAY
One of our favorite summer activities as a family is going on a whale watch. I have so many memories of running from one side of the whale watch boat to the other with the kids to spot the whales -- they were so excited! Humpback whales will often have patches of barnacles on them, which show up as light green under the water. On one whale watch, I was on my own on one side of the boat and was stunned to look down into the water and see those telltale light patches of green right below me -- a whale was rising to the surface right next to the boat. It raised its head above the water to take a look, as they sometimes do. It was scary, amazing and absolutely breathtaking.
