    Legion Post 91 supports Cambridge PD with generous donation

    Members of American Legion Post 91 present the Cambridge Police Department with an $8,500 donation which the department plans to use for uniforms and other equipment. Chief Justin Todd expressed thanks to the Legion for its generous support, and also shared gratitude for the valuable community relationships and support on a daily basis. Post 91 donates 50% of the slot profits (over $150,000 per year) to many charities including, veterans’ organizations, Charlotte Hall Veterans Home, Junior Achievement, every volunteer fire company in Dorchester County, plus Trappe and Oxford volunteer fire companies in Talbot County, the Cambridge Police Department, and many others. This is one of many checks donated to 67 community-based organizations totaling $120,620 to date this year.
