Cambridge boys golf wins by two strokes over Lodi

LODI -- Cambridge's boys golf team rallied to shoot 157, winning Monday's Capitol Conference mini meet at Lakeland Hills Country Club.

The Blue Jays held off the host Blue Devils, who were led by senior Walter Beld's 2-under medalist-winning round of 33, by two strokes.

Cambridge junior Kian Bystol-Flores shot 1-over 36 to finish second and senior Cade Nottestad shot 2-over 37 to tie for third.

Junior Matt Buckman and freshman Ben Baker both shot 42, tying for eighth, to round out the Blue Jays' tally.

Team scores: Cambridge 157, Lodi 159, Monticello/Belleville 171, Lake Mills 174, Lakeside Lutheran 181, New Glarus 185, Columbus 195, Wisconsin Heights 198.
