    Jefferson/Cambridge girls swim: EagleJays post five top-five times at Milton

    Jefferson/Cambridge's girls swim team took fourth at the season-opening Tom Lieder Invitational at Milton High School on Saturday, Aug. 24.

    The EagleJays, who scored 221 points, posted five top-five finishes.

    The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Kessa Pulkrabek, Ivy Stevens, Campbell Krause and Grace Warborg took third in 1:54.95. The same quartet took fifth in the 200 medley relay in 2:11.51.

    Grace Warborg took fifth in the 50 freestyle in 27.27.

    Pulkrabek finished fifth in the 200 free in 2:25.25, Maya Warborg was sixth in 2:25.26 and Krause finished seventh in 2:27.13.

    Abby Ostopowicz took fifth in the 100 butterfly in 1:13.88 and Pulkrabek finished eighth in 1:19.98.

    Stevens was fourth in the 100 IM in 1:12.34 while Grace Warborg took fifth in 1:12.50 and Ostopowicz finished seventh (1:16.58).

    Stevens took 6th in the 100 back in 1:10.83.

    Team scores: Lodi Co-Op 446, Milton 431, Stoughton 223, Jefferson/Cambridge 221, Janesville Parker 190, Janesville Craig 175, Beloit Memorial 158, Fort Atkinson 121, Whitewater 110, Delavan-Darien 89, Milton B team 60.
