UPDATE: 7News received a call stating that Phillips is no longer an owner of a computer repair store.

HARRISON COUNTY, OHIO (WTRF) – Harrison County Sheriff Joe Myers tells us that a local business owner has been arrested.

Nicabar Phillips is the owner of a computer repair store in Cambridge, OH and resides in the Freeport area.

Phillips was arrested on Friday after an investigation began into Phillips’ alleged possession of child pornography, as well as other sex related offenses involving a minor.

Police obtained a search warrant and conducted a search of Phillips’ home in Harrison County. A computer and “other digital evidence” was taken.

Phillips has been charged with “Pandering Obscenity Involving a Minor,” which is a 2nd degree felony charge.

Sheriff Myers wants to thank the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in the investigation, as well as the Ohio State Highway Patrol Investigative Services and Computer Crimes Unit.
