    Cambridge boys golf fourth at Blackwolf Run; Bystol-Flores takes medalist honors

    Kian Bystol-Flores earned medalist honors as the Cambridge boys golf team took fourth overall at Blackwolf Run Golf Course on Monday, May 6.

    Bystol-Flores shot one-under par, finishing with a 71 and winning by two strokes over West De Pere’s Mason Haupt. Right behind Bystol-Flores was Cade Nottestad, who finished tied for third with a 75.

    Ben Baker earned an 81 to take 23rd, Jack Baker shot a 91 to finish 45th and Matt Buckman scored a 92 to take 47th. Buckman’s 92 was not used in the Blue Jays’ score of 318.

    Cambridge finished fourth overall, finishing behind three Division 1 teams in West De Pere (309), Kimberly (314) and Marquette (317).
