Linn Creek man suffers serious injuries in jet ski accident at the Lake of the Ozarks
A Camden County man is seriously injured when his jet ski hits a large wake at the Lake of the Ozarks about 20 miles north of his hometown. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Jacob Sanders, 21, of Linn Creek, was riding the jet ski in Kinchlow Hollow Cove on Sunday evening when he hit the wave. The patrol says the impact sent Sanders airborne, then he struck the vessel.

A Linn Creek man is seriously injured in an accident while riding a waverunner late Sunday afternoon in Kinchlow Hollow Cove in Camden County. The highway patrol says it happened when 21-year-old Jacob Sanders hit a large wake throwing Sanders into the air before coming back down and impacting the waverunner.
Linn Creek man arrested with almost 300 images of child pornography scheduled for January trial
John Clark, of Linn Creek, was arrested in March and charged with ten counts of possession of child pornography and one count of possession of a controlled substance. Clark became a suspect after the Camden County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about a person in their area uploading 245 images of suspected child pornography. Clark was linked to the images through his IP address. Court documents state some of the victims were as young as one year old. At the time of Clark’s arrest, deputies also seized a pipe containing methamphetamine residue.
Jet skier injured after hit-and-run on Lake of the Ozarks over holiday weekend
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - One jet skier was injured after a hit-and-run collision on Lake of the Ozarks over the Fourth of July weekend. The Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that around 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, emergency crews were called to the Osage Arm of Lake of the Ozarks in Camden County, Mo., with reports of a jet-ski collision.

Grant Keller, of Edwardsville, Illinois, was arrested in the fall of 2022 for two counts of second-degree statutory sodomy, fourth-degree child molestation, and supplying liquor to a minor.

Two wanted for Hickory County ATM theft lead Camden & Dallas County deputies on high-speed chase
Two men are now charged for attempting to break into an ATM, then leading deputies from three counties, including Camden and Dallas, on a high-speed chase. Chauncy Lane and Lonell Lane were taken into custody Tuesday, the same day as the crime.
