24th Annual South Jersey Caribbean Festival comes to Camden on July 13th

It’s making a splash on the Camden Waterfront! The 24th annual South Jersey Caribbean Festival is taking place on Saturday, July 13th, 2024 from 2 to 8 p.m., at Wiggins Park on Riverside Drive in Camden, New Jersey.

The festival is expected to feature colorful costumes, and Caribbean culture including music, food, and dance.

Organizers say the free, multi-cultural family festival will also feature activities for children along with community and health information.

There will also be international and local artists performing on the concert stage as well as an African Dance and drum ensemble, a stilt walker, and a Soca fitness dance artist.

Donations will be accepted for disaster relief for the Caribbean countries affected by Hurricane Beryl and organizers say, “Items including nonperishable food, diapers, hygiene kits, batteries, power packs, and bedding are some of the items requested to assist persons from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Jamaica, and Grenada.”
