Missing Sumter teen found safe after leaving school Friday
SUMTER, S.C. — Sumter Police found a missing teen who had not been seen since she left school on Friday afternoon. Police said late Saturday night that the 16-year-old was reported missing after being seen leaving her school around 3:30 p.m. but not ever coming home. Around midnight, the Sumter Police Department confirmed that the teen had been found and was safe.
