Volunteers Visit Baxter Farm To Rescue Food
The Society of Saint Andrews gathered a group of volunteers Friday to visit Baxter farm to rescue waste food. Waste food consists of crops that are thrown away because they did not sell or have imperfections. Society of Saint Andrews Program Coordinator Cecelie Eiler said the food being thrown away can be eaten by people who battle hunger.
Vanderbilt baseball commit Grayson Burleson transferring to TSSAA champ Loretto from Summertown
Two-sport Summertown standout Grayson Burleson is transferring to district rival Loretto for his senior year, Loretto basketball coach Greg Tipps confirmed Friday. Burleson, a Vanderbilt baseball commitment, makes the move to the Class 2A state baseball champions with basketball season in mind too. Burleson was named to the TSWA Class 2A all-state basketball team.

Econo Lodge Motel must pay the estate of Alex Chronis a total of $2.06 million after the 76-year-old man died after sustaining third-degree burns after shower at the motel. The estate originally filed the lawsuit in October 2022 in Kentucky’s Kenton County Circuit Court for $7 million in damages.
