On my recent summer vacation to Cody, I had the pleasure of exploring some of the best taco spots in town. Here are the highlights of my taco adventure in Cody, Wyoming.

    El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant

El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant offers an authentic taste of Mexico right in the heart of Cody. The warm, inviting atmosphere and friendly service make it a great spot for a satisfying meal. The Carnitas Tacos, featuring tender, slow-cooked pork topped with fresh cilantro, onions, and a squeeze of lime, were a standout. The flavors were vibrant and perfectly balanced, making each bite a delight.

    Zapatas

Zapatas is a local favorite known for its vibrant atmosphere and delicious Mexican cuisine. The colorful decor and lively vibe add to the dining experience. The Fish Tacos, made with lightly battered fish fillets, crunchy cabbage, tangy pico de gallo, and a drizzle of creamy sauce, were exceptional. The combination of textures and flavors made these tacos a must-try.

    Pat O’Hara Brewing Company

While known primarily for its craft beers, Pat O’Hara Brewing Company also serves up some fantastic tacos. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to unwind. The Brewery Tacos, featuring grilled chicken, fresh salsa, avocado, and a zesty lime crema on soft corn tortillas, were delicious. The fresh ingredients and flavorful fillings made for a satisfying meal.

    The Local

The Local is a cozy eatery that prides itself on using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The casual, welcoming atmosphere is perfect for a quick and tasty lunch. The Beef Barbacoa Tacos, with slow-cooked beef, pickled onions, cilantro, and a spicy salsa, were a highlight. The tender beef and bold flavors made these tacos a standout choice.
